I don’t use my glow sticks often at the rink because it’s never busy enough to justify it. Tonight? I brought the big one’s I’ve saved for that special occasion.

Wearing some of the bracelets from trades at the Rosemont ritual. Been feeling blah this week where I just don’t want to do shit. After two days of heavy socializing and the intensity of emotions from the rituals? I don’t think I recovered. I feel better today, hence the need to wear bracelets. 🖤

My very first attempt at loom beading. Not too shabby. Used cheap seed beads for practice. Not having consistent bead sizes gives it a warped look. Still cute tho.

Papa went to see the Grand Canyon at the North Rim. Watched a thunderstorm roll just West of the area & saw smoke from a nearby wildfire.

A little sweaty. Just finished mowing my yards. Due to the complexity of my wild flower layout, it can take about 2 hours to mow. Takes a lot of patience.
I find mowing similar to skating, running, or walking. The world around me shuts down. It’s the closest to meditation & world peace I will get. 😆

My garden looks better this year. It’s named after my Polish grandmother, who cared for her garden every day, in a once large empty lot, next to her building in Chicago. She won awards from Mayor Dailey in the 1990’s. She worked her garden until she was 95. Her garden was everything to her and us.

Attended Pride Skate tonight. I wore my compression sleeve. Zero issues skating.
As soon as I got to the car? I felt a pinch in the same location from Tuesday as I mowed the grass. It happened twice.
When I got home, it happened 5 more times. Each more severe. Painful.
Crazy times. Frustrating.
