I wonder if the Brian Thompson assassination wasn't intended as the first shot in the American Peasant Revolt.

Barring some radical changes in US society that I doubt the incoming administration will make when they destroy it, I expect we'll see more attacks like this until the class war ignites.

As I think about it, the more I think the ruling class is smarter than many of us hope. When I look at the dissatisfaction that led to the French Revolution and should lead to the Second American Revolution, I'm afraid I see a more ignorant, more religiously benighted public aiding their oppressors.

Let us make no mistake, the popular vote was not for a circus, but arson.

The system has failed and more of us wanted to burn it down than repair it.
