Hey! I may have had slaves but I was a Southerner unlike you. We are all products of our childhood.

If I had it to do over again, I would’ve divorced Martha and married Sally. But that’s not how things worked in the 70’s.

I’ve come back to right my wrongs and speak out against the new #tyranny.

I know no safe depository of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them but to inform their discretion by education.

OK. I know I don’t have a great record on this. But I’ve had a couple hundred years to reflect. (Sally’s awesome, alive or dead! Know what I mean?)

DEI in the #private-sector is none of #Donald’s or #Elon’s business.

You guys gotta stop patronizing Home Depot, McDonald’s, and Sephora.

Indeed, it is to the interest of every #nation, as well as the duty of every man, to render the condition of every other as comfortable as their own means will permit.

We must not turn away from the needy when we can help.

(However, I would like to see a #balanced-budget.)

The natural progress of things is for #liberty to yield and #government to gain ground.

The tree of #liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of #patriots and #tyrants.

But some #DOGE #transparency might delay that necessity.
