This Maya vase from the Petén region of Guatemala depicts the birth of Baby Jaguar and was smuggled into the US as early as 1975, not earlier, by John Fulling. In 1988, this vase, along with the rest of the "November Collection," was donated to the MFA Boston, where it is still currently housed.
