trans day of remembrance sucks because we’re the only ones who ever give a shit about it. if cis people took it as a day to go “wow through our callous disregard for the safety of trans people we sure did kill a lot of trannies” every year that might be worth something but we don’t even get that

Rani Baker was an artist and programmer who worked across multiple mediums, and was a frequent sight in artistic spaces on the internet. A counterculture icon who stood up so bravely for her community and herself, and who didn't have to. Rani tragically took her own life. We remember her.
