In 2021, I collaborated with long-time friends @taizen-chisou.bsky.social and @rakaasac.bsky.social for the Amaze Me Game Jam. The game is definitely a little rough around the edges, but I got to draw cute mermaids, so I was happy lol. taizen-chisou.itch.io/aquatetra

I skipped a few of the Touhou jams, but came back for #5 in early 2020. I worked in a team of 3 this time, which was a cool experience. I was the designer/programmer. Really fun jam. a916ww.itch.io/straw-millio...

For the second Touhou jam in mid-2018, I collabed with @vibrantrida.bsky.social (cw:18+ account) on a game spoofing Monster Strike. Admittedly, it was an interesting challenge replicating a game that I'd never played. ghostlyfeline.itch.io/youkai-strike

In 2018, I participated in the first Touhou Fangame Jam on Itch.io. Shoutouts to that community, found a lot of great friends there. Anyway, here's what I made for that jam. I worked solo, just like ZUN himself lol. ghostlyfeline.itch.io/lost-in-a-dr...

Around 2017, I participated in the GMS2 Beta Jam 2! Since I had 2 weeks, I challenged myself to do a complete game with levels and boss fights. I ended up making Arcane Rivals, a kind of megaman-like platformer. Still pretty proud of this one. ghostlyfeline.itch.io/arcane-rivals

I was also doing a bunch of game jams post-college. For GB Jam 5 in 2016, I made Diamond Dust, a small puzzle platformer about a snow girl who can shoot ice crystals. The gameplay needs work, but it looks pretty cool. ghostlyfeline.itch.io/diamond-dust

I graduated in 2016, and continued to work on Typhoon Unit, although solo at this point. I released a demo build on itch.io that year. I was so excited to finally put something out... and then the first comment was an essay on everything that sucked about it. So I went back to the drawing board.

We're mostly past the wall of text. You ready for something playable? I made a fast-paced platformer prototype for my game design seminar course over the summer of 2015. It's got a lot of placeholder graphics, but it's got 30 levels and is really fun! ghostlyfeline.itch.io/spider
