My answer is simple: The Amulet will try Toby and eventually… quite probably, end with Jim again- because the amulet will seek the Trollhunter. But also- Jim- having already saved the balance of the world once- trusts that THEY ALL are Trollhunters- Toby- Calire and him- Plural: Trollhunter (s)
