He finally decided to show up to one of the extra credit study session I was in. He thought they were pointless & I couldn’t attend the actual class so we didn’t meet for quite a while. Then he didn’t talk to me for a while even tho he began to regularly attend them but I also kind of ignored him 😅

If it’s a DR where I have my phone I’m gonna be going through all my resent messages to see what I’ve been up to lol and if there’s no tech I’ll be going through all my drawers and belongings bc I’m nosey probably will open all the kitchen cabinets at the same time and just stare at ‘em

Is the ones that don’t have a “canon media” counterpart (idk what to call it lol) & like sure they may have ppl or certain elements that are from media here but are otherwise sourced from worlds that we don’t have a clear image or equivalent of in this reality. I hope this makes sense lol (2-end)

Also, I think there might’ve been a couple shifters that were trying to put together an archive but I’m not sure what happened to that project

(🖤) aware of their DR so realistically if they wanted to publish traditionally they could rework it in a way that’s still authentic to their experience but doesn’t infringe on existing works. It’s all really interesting to me. Personally, I don’t think I’d want to publish traditionally but doors (💕)

That’s a very good point (the copyright thing) but I guess it really just depends on how close to “canon” a shifters DR is. We see it quite often authors reworking their stuff w/ alternative names and places so they can trad publish.
I think shifters have the added advantage of being intimately (🖤)

That’s fine. But talking about them in that fashion doesn’t mean it’s less legitimate or real as an experience? Plus I want something to look back on myself (like you said, it’s an archive) (end)

In the community don’t like when you start talking about shifting in a way that is like fanfic (as if that’s not LITERALLY what “storytimes” are) bc that’s “putting your DR on a pedestal” or something but it’s like.. at the end of the day my shifts will only ever be stories to ppl here. And (2)
