Giant bomb has so many talented people on staff it would be a shame to see them dissolve. Been following them for years and always looked forward to their content every week.

Magic as a game is more entertaining to play than to collect. Pokemon and other popular TCGs have characters that people can latch onto. Magic never really had that. Sure there’s characters like Urza but when comparing Urza to say Pikachu or Luffy people will lean more towards the names they know.

I’ve had this piece by Greg Capullo as my phone background for years. Still blown away by it every time I see it.
