I was a barista for a few years and after answering costumer questions for a bit it became very clear the average person knows very little about coffee.
Which is totally fair. But funny whenever barista becomes the catch all when reactionaries want to complain about low effort jobs.

it's not that i ever doubted that being a barista was a skilled position, but my year-long effort to try to produce a half-decent latte at home has convinced me that a good barista is easily more skilled than virtually every c-suite executive on the planet

I enjoyed the new Frankenstein but damn do I wish it wasn’t made by Netflix.
A lot of the sets and costumes were nice but every once in a while things had the look of a mid budget show meant to be streamed while watching your phone.

Rewatching Godzilla Minus One, still goes so hard. I’m conflicted about the sequel. I don’t blame them for making it and I’m sure it’ll be good, but damn -1 just ends perfectly.
