yaotome's utter dread here is so relatable lol

it's a cute oneshot! and the english cover suits the tone of the story, which is reasonably light and not very explicit. there are a lot of twists and turns, and i wish the story had been just a bit longer so they had more breathing room. but maybe the structure was deliberate given the premise lol

tbh for a number of reasons i'm feeling pretty anxious going into 2026. but i hope i read and watch and play lots more things that i enjoy, and that the things i make will find their way into the hands of people who like them. i will be posting about both here! happy 2026, hope it's good to everyone

not everything went smoothly (i really meant to be done with NIGHTMARE GIRL before the end of 2025, but alas), and i wish i'd done more with my year (because i really could have in some ways, not because i'm being too hard on myself or whatever) but i did do a lot of cool and difficult things! so.
