am sorry u have to deal with rlly painful lung issues, i hope they r doing better now despite it being a continuous thing u have to deal with,,, having health issues that need to be monitored for life sucks. gives u a small cube dog for ur health (yes they r sick right now, dw they will get better)

Like, if it “isn’t your place to talk about it” then how is it your place to joke about it? The answer, more likely than not, is that it isn’t. Joking about it is still talking about it, it’s just refusing to actually be vulnerable regarding the topic at hand.

Mildly feel like this is going to either be ignored or I’m gonna be told I’m being overly sensitive, but truly at this point it just feels like dog whistling with how frequent it appears to be happening, and the painfully lukewarm reactions actual discussions about these things seem to get. Idk.

Not that I haven’t participated in said jokes, but I find it strange when it seems to be that men make these jokes more often than I or any other woman I know do (aka, you know, the group that would actually be using it to cope with what they go through). Just an observation.
