I unfortunately guessed the same last two as you in that order (more letters possibly removed with the first) but SFA over the Republican party and Gruff over Trump is more true to my tastes.

Other than the Dallas game, they haven't lost any they shouldn't have. Maybe the first Bucks loss should have been theirs. But they are playing well against good teams and winning more than their share. It is always fun to follow them but, winning makes it (don't run this by your editor) funner :)

Where did you get the non-ESPN numbers? (I think they actually make more sense but after reading box scores since the early 1980s ... I find the column change jarring)

On jinxing ... After the 1-4 start it feels like something good is happening and it is time to get on the bandwagon. [Insert losing streak here now I jinx fear]

I really enjoy your interesting stats. The sports I follow are basketball and road cycling. I suspect you don't follow the latter but should you ever be in search of the equivalent in cycling to your encyclopedic knowledge - check out @cilliankelly.bsky.social

It is a bit weird so I get discussing changing it if his 3ptFG% wasn't good but he was 40% from 3 last season - it would be criminally negligent to think you can change it to be better.

On word changes, when we changed "in all our sons" to "of us", they should have changed "God keep our ..." to "Let's keep our ...". And I am good with this "on" for "our"

I realize there is zero percent chance they do this but, after making up/granting de facto Presidential Immunity, the Supreme Court (or Congress) should rule that Presidents cannot pursue litigation in office. It so obviously is a clear path to corruption. (Repost as 2 links not mine attached B4)

Is there any correlation between everyone talking up how good and physical a defender CMB is, and Barnes pre-season aversion to the post and love of the jumpshot? Like has battling/struggling in the post in practice against CMB think he can't bully ordinary defenders anymore too?

If pressed I will still say David Lean is the greatest director of all time but between GoTG1-3, The Suicide Squad, Peacemaker 1, Superman and Peacemaker 2 no director has made me smile as often as @jamesgunn.bsky.social in the past 11 years.

Jose - on the commentary, you suggested you were thinking of going up Ventoux but worried about the descent. From Malaucene, I believe. The descent to Sault, after Chalet Reynards, is not that steep. Long but beautiful 50k ride back from Sault (incl Gorges de la Nesque) - ups and downs but not steep

For those of us that don't get the coverage which will include the stats and facts you will be providing for this TdF, could you do a post tour summation or the like?
