[GER/ENG] (he/him) Besides other things I love Xeno / Kiseki / ST / Uta ❤️
Other than that, I probably spend too much of my time playing video games, and Xenosaga is my favorite series and truly means a lot to me.

Had a lot of fun playing Donkey Kong Bananza! Genuinely an absolutely fantastic 3D platformer that feels very fresh and new with its whole concept and core gameplay mechanics

I don't have a digital scan at hand, but I do own the original book. Here's a photo of the segment, hope that's fine and helps

This was btw actually further explored in the XSIII Perfect Guide. Thanks to Wilhelm they ended up in the same galaxy as Lost Jerusalem, so I guess that at least makes it a bit more likely that they possibly could reach it

Played the demo of H9 and really liked it with what it had to offer thus far. Both the general concept and the mystery are great and very intriguing and I'm already very excited for the full release later this month

With today being November 12th, happy 10th anniversary to Project X Zone 2! Still an absolutely fantastic and very enjoyable crossover game that also serves as a wonderful conclusion to the series and the journey of both main characters Reiji and Xiaomu that started with Namco X Capcom on the PS2.

made a small list encompassing some of my favorite standalone games that more or less stand for themselves and don't have any sort of sequel in the form of another game and aren't part of a big franchise

Finished Ikikoi yesterday, another fairly nice game in KeroMakura's catalogue of games that I enjoyed quite a bit for what it is with its focus on lighthearted comedy. Have otherwise written a bit more about it on my Backloggd account bckl.gg/pkxo

Have finally gotten around to it and expanded my review of Tomoyo After and have written more about my feelings towards it and why I feel like it is one of the most beautiful and sincere Key works. ~ Life is like a melody ~ bckl.gg/cf1G

Recently have finally played H2O: Footprints in the Sand and the contents of its respective fandisc and came to really love and enjoy it with some of its strong aspects and the sort of nostalgic feeling of summertime of countryside it has to it, genuinely another very special KeroMakura title

To this date genuinely one of the most beautiful games I have ever played

Honestly can't reiterate enough what a beautiful experience Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse is. Not only did it totally exceed my expectations but it also had so many great unforgettable moments and characters that really grew on me. Genuinely amazing and more than emotionally moving experience

While I enjoyed my time with the Trails in the Sky remake and think it has some good aspects to it, I do have to say I feel like it overall is still weaker compared to the original and honestly think it would've been better to just port the original Sky trilogy to modern consoles

Happy 25th anniversary to AIR! Quite a special game that is still a work developed by Key I very much appreciate with it also being the first game someone like Suzumoto Yuuichi has worked on and a notable work from Maeda

Played the demo of the Trails in the Sky remake and quite liked it so far. The fully animated cutscenes and opening are great and I like how expressive the characters are. Only major thing I'm really mixed on is the change of the JP voice cast and I don't like Joshua's new VA as much as his old one

Finally caught up with the SciADV series over the last few weeks with playing all the other main entries outside of Steins;Gate for the first time. While S;G is still my favorite, I came to really like the other entries as well and generally like the whole series with most of its entries

Really disappointing to see that Laplacian is seemingly using AI for their next game Harmonic Reflections and its English translation. That honestly really makes me lose interest in their future games if this is the direction they are going for

19 years ago Xenosaga Episode III released in Japan. To this day it's such a monumental and incredible achievement as the final game in the series and without a doubt my absolute favorite game that exceeds in nearly every way. This game truly means a lot to me and has deeply resonated with me
July 6, 2025 at 6:59 AM
I hope the full game is better than what the demo had to offer
June 25, 2025 at 5:35 PM
I don't know if this is just a compatibility issue with the Switch 2, but it's still really bad and isn't a state you should release a game or even a demo, especially one week before the release. I hope that at least gets fixed in the final release.

Aside from that I also tried out the Japanese demo on the Switch and at least on the Switch 2 where I tested it, it crashes really often when trying to start it. I tried it out quite some time and the most often it happened was four times in a row.

Concerning the section where you can freely move, they feel kind of unnecessary since it basically only consists of you walking in a straight corridor, and it ends like immediately after going forward. Otherwise it's at least nice to have the option to switch between the old and new voice cast.

Played the demo of the ToHeart 3D remake and yeah I'm still not really convinced, and I'm still not at all a fan of the direction they went with it and would've vastly preferred having it in 2D. At least things like the option to have the text in an NVL or ADV style are pretty nice.

Finished watching Victory Gundam today. Such a great experience, especially the mature themes are great and there were so many fantastic and pretty emotional moments during the whole show and it definitely became one of my favorite Gundam anime
June 8, 2025 at 4:20 PM
Finished Silent Hill 2, the original on the PS2, yesterday after finally deciding to play it over the previous days. Definitely a pretty nice experience that I really enjoyed as a whole, especially the whole atmosphere of the game is great

It's peak. Sakura Wars 2 is a nearly perfect sequel and honestly everything I could've wished for in a followup to the first game. There's so much to love about it and I absolutely had immensely fun playing it
