I like Expedition 33 a lot, but the twist made me not care so much about the fate of the characters by the end. And I didn’t have any urge to do all the extra quests after finishing the main story. I also think Erika Ishii was robbed of Best Performance for her role as Astu in Ghost of Yotei.

FF7 was seminal, no doubt, but there were some great/very important PS1 games released before it came out. Crash Bandicoot, Resident Evil, Tekken 2, Tomb Raider, Twisted Metal 2 and Wipeout 2097 are some that I enjoyed.

I find it hysterical that you are still out here pretending to be an impartial industry analyst after being wrong about just about everything in videogames for the past 15 years. The guy who was so in the tank for Xbox that he dismissed The Last of Us as a game that would sell 300K then disappear 😂
