🚨 100 US cities have now fully abolished parking mandates citywide!

Shreveport, Louisiana, pushed the count to the 100th mark! It also became the first city in Louisiana to entirely abolish parking mandates!

NJ Voters identified housing as the top issue facing our state. This was the poll's 1st q. So they responded this way without knowing the poll was about housing.

The message is clear: Voters want legislators to take action & prioritize building more housing over protecting home rule.

Increasing supply = addressing affordability.

From the article: "But every single market in the Northeast and Midwest continue to see their rents rise.” That’s because in those markets there hasn’t been nearly as much new construction.
The American renter population is on the rise, primarily due to growing costs and mortgage rates for homebuyers. In some parts of the country, particularly in the South and West, new apartment construction has caused rent to stabilize.
Rents are actually, finally holding steady — for now
The main reason rents are steady or even declining slightly? Construction of new apartments is near a 50-year high.
