Really enjoyed @aoc.bsky.social’s appearance on the @thedailyshow.com. I struggle to articulate to my friends and family how Americans ended up voting against their own interests yet again and she nailed.

If you feel like “we need the incentives of capitalism or else people won’t work hard or innovate” I feel bad for you. That’s a person who hasn’t found their purpose. You wouldn’t be perfecting a craft unless you got paid? You wouldn’t do something to better humanity for that reason alone? Thats sad
