It was both of those things. You don’t change minds with lectures, you change them with propaganda unfortunately. It could have been a far more effective film if it had been smarter about what it was trying to do rather than focussing on what it wanted to say.

Just occurred to me - check out the movie Parallels if you haven’t. A spin on the Sliders idea that could have been fun. Developed as a pilot, just the movie was shot

This show remains ripe for an absolutely fantastic remake. Great concept, botched execution for the most part
