My first digital camera, the Apple QuickTake 200, still works. Just turned it on and it's still fabulous in its .3mb glory. Bought in 1993. Steve Jobs promptly killed the QuickTake division at Apple when he returned to the company later that year. He also made my Newton obsolete.

Just utilized my bottle of the 2024 vintage of Deep 6 Limited Edition Irish Coffee Cream. Only 1000 bottles packaged. It has been aged 20 feet under the ice for 6 months on Lake of the Woods. A taste sensation. Sour with the hint of grape and coffee. Beautiful body and head.

Good year for Purple Finches here on Bannister Lake. Usually we only get them for a couple of days during migration but we're getting them daily for the last 2 months.
