Without derailing the conversation too much, I'd like to hear your thoughts on what to do when a player unfortunately passes away. Our friend was a primary fixture in a our multi-year campaign and I'm at a loss from a GM perspective on how to move forward while still honoring his memory.

I feel the dads with jobs bit. Thankfully that has come into play very infrequently with my core group. I'm lucky to have such a fun group that I look forward to each week. I would gladly run whatever they want to keep playing with them; but I agree, I definitely appreciate when PF does happen.
