I found it can help to access social media apps/news sources through the browser on my computer because the user experience is significantly worse than the mobile app, so it's much easier for me to stop😀

I guess what I'm trying to say is that media corporations are trying to use the vocabulary associated with consumable resources, such as food or fuels, to devalue art so they can pay people less and reap all the benefits
You don't "consume content" any more than I eat bits of my car when I drive it
