This pisses me off massively. He's such a vile chancer . I am nearing the end of a forty year career in primary education and the very idea that this stuff he blathers about is happening is laughable, insulting and libelous. He will say anything for attention, he's dangerous and needs stopping

Is your next book a fully researched, uncensored and detailed study of the alarming rise of the far right in the UK, including analysis of funding, the main players and the links between them (does NF plot with TR?) and the role of the sympethetic media?

It is absolutely extraordinary how the govt are not strong enough to go after Farage, Robinson, Musk etc and are so guarded in their comments. These people are racist, divisive fascists with long records of inciting violence and dividing communities plus a lot more.

What disturbs me is the platform offered to these people. It's the same in the UK. The more divisive the figure, the more airtime they seem to get. You would have thought Germany would have learnt

We are in the age of politicians who are so dreadful it has become normalised. Farage could only succeed in such an environment. You fear about the vast political vacuum being created that his no policy, divisive rhetoric will exploit. Fast forward three years and he could be PM in waiting

The results do show the utter catastrophe that was Boris Johnson. He was the ultimate chancer, and has triggered the almost complete destruction of his party. His seismic failure created the political opportunity Farage is filling. Farage is also a chancer, but a far, far cleverer one
