At my local supermarket you scan your items as you put them in your cart using a built in scanner. Then go to self checkout, and scan a barcode that loads everything into the register and prompts for payment. The bottom of the cart is a scale for produce (or to catch thieves).

Gosh I would love that to be true. But we have masked agents grabbing people off the streets with no warrant. We have a political right who don’t condemn the killing of LGBTQ people. People are scared and they all have guns. Left and right. The poem was right “America is a gun”.
