In hindsight, this game would prob be worse with less hand disruption and it would just be a rare candy arms race. Maybe a devolution card is the logical next step to take the space of disruption slots and also slow down rare candy decks.

Was fun playing vs more and more competent players as the ranks went higher, but luck streaks got more and more frustrating too because people capitalized better

Got to UB4 with a ~70% winrate and then probably dropped a third of my losses there 🫠

At this point, I think nearly every site/app has a massive flaw that makes me wonder whether the product team in charge even uses its own service

I should probably have more sympathy as a dev, but all my experience has done is make it clear when sites pursue metrics/engagement over user-experience

Twitter seems to have stopped pre-fetching ads, so now a new one loads while I scroll every few seconds and immediately pushes me into my browser or the App Store. Even if I’m just scrolling.

It’s obvious that this is a push to drive Blue purchases, but I genuinely wonder if QA even tests the app.

I wish social media sites didn’t always pivot to algo-centric models and massively disruptive ads whenever they hit critical mass
