I may have Coeliac (Celiac) Disease and I am preparing to live a Gluten Free lifestyle. Waiting for a endoscopy to confirm first.
UPDATE: The Biopsy results for my endoscopy still hasn't arrived yet. I have rang the place up at least 3 times, they said they have to request it from the other hospital they send me to, each time.

From 11/11/24 it will be a month since I went in for The endoscopy, does it really take this long?

I am not certain but I am seeing my GP Wednesday for the initial report and Friday next week (for Biopsy Results). Judging by the reports, I am assuming I have Acid Reflux or GERD, I saw on Google it's a condition closely related to either Coeliac/Celiac Disease or Gluten Intolerance?

Today (Friday, October 11 2024) I went for my Endoscopy for both the Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy they said I'll get my results in 4 to 6 weeks. I'll finally figure out what's wrong with me.

Unfortunately coming from the hospital I have been sneezing constantly I don't know if that's a side effect!

From tomorrow I have to commence a White Diet, because Friday is October 11 where I'll have to do an endoscopy for both a colonoscopy and gastroscopy to determine what is causing the issues. If I am celiac, gluten intolerant or something else entirely. Wish me luck for Friday guys. A bit nervous.

Can anyone please explain to me it says I can’t have seeds/grains or multigrain bread, which foods should I avoid please?

Almost to my Endoscopy appointment October 11, to determine what I have that is causing me to go to the bathroom constantly from whatever I eat or drink!

They are going to perform a colonoscopy and gastroscopy at the same time during the appointment.

Ladies and Gentlemen I am seeing a new gastroenterologist and he has already done the form for me to do an endoscopy which will entail colonoscopy and gastroscopy.
I'll finally figure out why and whether I am celiac or not.
My produce is booked for October 11 wish me luck guys.

I am thinking of getting #health #insurance and I was wondering is it okay for me to get #Hospital and #extras insurance with one insurance fund and life or funeral insurance with a different insurance fund?

Guys I have finally got a referral from my GP to do a gastroscopy for celiac and other similar diseases.

I am from Melbourne, Australia is there any recommendation for a gastroscopy, where it's not going to leave a hole in my pocket please?

I am a little confused. My Gastroenterologist informed me according to my blood test and stool test it doesn’t look like I need to do an endoscopy because he doesn’t believe I am celiac (he wants to confirm with a second stool test), but my GP says to go on a Gluten Free Diet, who do I listen to?
July 20, 2024 at 12:09 AM
According to the gastroenterologist I do not have celiac according to the blood test results but have low enzymes where people should be at 200 I am only at 15 (not to sure what that means). Although to double check and confirm he wants me to do another stool test. 1/2

I was looking for some restaurants for my birthday that just went (June 16) & noticed some places said “low in Gluten” which according to all the Facebook and MeWe places I read including here, is pretty much saying that shouldn’t be allowed, it should be 100% Gluten Free or don’t advertise at all.

Today I am officially going to get my blood test results and stool test results. When I go see the Gastroenterologist this afternoon. I’ll be asking him for an endoscopy as well, if the results of the blood and stool tests come back negative. Just to determine if I have Celiac.
June 30, 2024 at 10:23 PM
I've noticed some places that say "low in Gluten" but for those with gluten intolerance and celiacs, this doesn't make sense as it should be 100% Gluten Free.

The other day the gastroenterologist told me by viewing the original blood test it’s not coeliac but could be Irritable Bowel Syndrome, however he is asking me to do another blood test and now a stool test to determine the issue. I assume I’ll have a scope done soon.
February 6, 2024 at 1:18 AM
So confusing, saw the gastroenterologist today and they informed me just by looking at my blood test results, saying I don’t have coeliac but I may Irritable Bowel Syndrome and I don’t need a gastroscopy for that according to them.
So a public GP says I have coeliac and a gastro says I don’t 1/2

Ladies and Gentlemen in 7hrs I have an appointment with my gastroenterologist. Wish me luck.

I did some #GlutenFree #shopping yesterday at #Woolworths just preparing myself for the future in case it turns out I do have #coeliac. I purchased these Gluten Free products, if you have purchased any of these what is your opinion on them?
February 2, 2024 at 8:35 PM
I am finally getting an appointment with a gastroenterologist on Monday to confirm the diagnosis. He will let me know if I should go ahead with a gastroscopy.

I just bought a sausage roll from a bakery here as I was in a rush, with 20 minutes to spare before I commenced my Bowling League and unbeknownst to me, it turned out to be Gluten free, I couldn't tell the difference at all.
February 1, 2024 at 8:55 AM
This is going to be quite the long road in the future if I do indeed have Coeliac as my Mother is a type 2 diabetic and is on a lean meat diet, while I'll have to go on a Gluten Free diet, this is going to be very costly in the future.
January 31, 2024 at 9:15 AM
If it turns out my results are affirmative in relation to me having Coeliac Disease This account will be all my Gluten Free outings and what I think of the meals I take.
