Did you know that we are also just one of 221 arboreta worldwide to be a Level II accredited arboretum? Spend a day exploring our diverse collection of trees, plants, and shrubs- but please don’t pick the flowers! And don’t miss fan favorites like the Red Maple Allee and the Lotus Pond.

Today, we are NJ’s largest sculpture park and open to the public year round! Guests can enjoy our permanent outdoor collection, temporary exhibitions in six indoor galleries, and take part in a variety of programs designed around education, family, wellness, and more.

GFS was founded in 1992 by Seward Johnson on the former New Jersey State Fairgrounds to be a place where contemporary sculpture could be accessible to all. While we started with just 15 acres and 15 pieces of art, we’ve grown to have over 300 sculptures across 42 ever changing acres.
