Thank you Congresswoman! This is the most understandable explanation of this ongoing disaster that I've heard. Seeing a big picture view of this fiasco is both calming and empowering. I feel better prepared to cope and resist, after having watched your video. Keep it up please.

How is it that 1 republican senator can prevent the approval of military promotions for hundreds of days, but 45 Democratic senators can't stop the confirmation of unqualified cabinet appointees? No wonder so many of us are anguished.

My proposal to address corporate pay inequality. Develop a metric for obscene pay inequality and tax it. Develop a metric for fair pay and offer incentive to achieve it. Simplified example below.
