In DC on business for the weekend and National Guard troops are everywhere “keeping the peace.” I spoke to a few of them standing around with nothing to do. They are frustrated and humiliated and said this is not what they signed up for. I really feel sorry for these men and women😞

Yet another amazing episode, and one that prepared me for a ruthlessly volatile and, at more times than I am comfortable with, extremely unjust world. But also helped me to realize that even if life can't possibly achieve 100% happiness, we can still be content with a maximum of 80🙂
