Google recently changed the settings format for all Chromium based browsers and I could only add support for it in the latest version. Please update to the latest version of Blocker (4.6) to fix this issue:

Brave uses the Chrome extension. 4.6 is also impacted :( The extension will update once Google approves it again within a day or two. No action required on your part!

What you *will* be able to do, right after the extension updates, is block all (self-declared) adult site by just adding *.xxx to a block list.
