On his 75th birthday, Carl Jung placed a carved cube in his lakeside garden with inscriptions on multiple sides, possibly depicting the demigod figure Telesphoros.

On one side is a collection of alchemical quotes about the 'Orphan' or the "Philosopher's stone"

The curseblade's acrobatic attacks may even be inspired by the Minoan tradition of bull-leaping.

Bulls were a traditional sacrifice in European religions, something I've noted before in the sacrificial deaths of Radahn and Mohg, who are both horned males.

Because Minoan society was regarded as matriarchal, the symbol of the double-axe became important in modern neopagan and lesbian feminist contexts, perhaps alluded to by the relationship between Labirith and Meera.

While the translation we've gotten for the Bonny Gaol Curseblade is "Labirith," this is probably meant to be "Labrys." A labrys is a ritual double-headed axe associated with the Minoan religion. The word "labyrinth" may even translate as "palace of the double axe." #EldenRing

Gehrman, meaning "spear-man." A character meant to be used and disposed of, a fading man in the background.
