Kohleria 'Strawberry fields'

Three achimenes currently in flower. The A. erecta 'tiny red' was grown from seed originally and survived a complete fungal collapse as a few leaf cuttings, only to now end up as a volunteer in other pots

A selectionof Kohlerias currently in bloom. Potting media not consistent; some in succulent/'bonsai' compost, some in houseplant compost with extra perlite. They really so not seem to care much.

March 23, 2025 at 10:18 PM
Kohleria 'jester' 🌱
March 23, 2025 at 10:11 PM
Streptocarpus glandulosissimus; fast grower, this one, and prolific flowering too.
March 23, 2025 at 10:06 PM
Very much enjoying growing this Primulina 'erika'; it feels like a cross between a candelabra and a palm tree
March 22, 2025 at 12:53 PM
A small ramshaxkle terrarium of the surviving episcias I grew from seed; i have very little success open-growing episcias.
March 22, 2025 at 12:48 PM
Dendrobium kingianum. This one has a really lovely scent.🌱
March 8, 2025 at 5:21 PM
Look at this big messy thing; this is Streptocarpus caulescens var. pallescens, grown from a cutting and now itself daring me to chop it to bits.🌱
March 8, 2025 at 5:17 PM
Fully open now; all the buds have comd out at once. Pleione x 'Tongariro' 🌱
March 8, 2025 at 5:13 PM
Pleione 'Tongariro'. I used to grow a lot of orchids but am now much more interested in the terrestrial/seasonal types.
March 4, 2025 at 11:50 AM
