"weird sex = bad" makes sense as an attitude, backed up by biblical citation regardless of if their reading is correct "you were mean to your father so you must walk around town wearing a sign saying NAUGHTY BOY and then get dunked in the water while we all laugh" god didn't say to do any of that.

"What about characterization and plot continuity" unfortunately, it has been many years since I played the first two zero escape games, and part of why I never played this one was because I greatly disliked the plot direction and so on in VLR... *eyes turn red* so i don't care

The disorienting timeline fragment system is an interesting choice that I do like conceptually, even if in practice it doesn't feel the best utilized. I can't comment on some of the plot elements because it has been five years since I played VLR and I forgor most of it (aside from me not liking it)

the only character i have with a personality to survive a bout of agendaposting is probably my ancient OC dahlia, whose whole shtick is that she is an assassin who sucks shit (zero kills) but fails upward via her sheer belief in herself being awesome
