You will also find them on the list of the happiest countries and other such lists. It is, therefore, implied that countries and societies in general are better off when working as a group to the benefit of the group, looking after those that can't look after themselves, educating their population.

You're making my point. The American Dream leads to a system predicated on the individual working independently, unhindered by government. If you compare the countries at the top of your list with world tax rates you will find most of them on the list of the highest taxed....

Wow, your position is so wrong on so many levels for so many reasons but to mention just two, this worker does have rights if she feels she was unjustly fired. Management had an obligation to it's public to mitigate the damage this would caused and could continue to cause if left anywhere 1/2
