Religious education is a process of teaching about religion, not forcing a single worldview. That’s the mandate of individual churches. Leave the rest to the provincially prescribed curriculum.

It’s the only way to sort this. Both sides stand to lose. The only problem is how can it be done without Trump losing face. That’s the elephant in the room.

Not sure I agree with this. Historically we’ve generally had a very good relationship with the US. Any anger we’re feeling and any retaliatory actions we personally take are directed at Trump and his administration. History will not be kind to this crowd.

Excellent decision. Cellphones have had a particularly devastating impact on junior high aged kids.

Recently my wife and I spent time in Portugal where we met many Americans from all parts of the country. We are Canadian, so, I was ready for some good debate however every individual we met was overwhelmingly apologetic for the behavior of the president and his cabinet. It was quite reassuring.

Careful Keith. This one ain’t over yet. That last poll is the overseas one including Canadian workers, military members, etc. So it’s hard to determine the size. It’s pretty tight now so we’ll keep our fingers crossed.

Poilievre’s comment here seems very simplistic. As someone who had children in my late 30’s I found that it was simply a matter of choice and often, sacrifice. However, in the long term, financial stability and raising children can be achieved. It is, and always has been a balancing act.

Clearly the fentantyl thing is a major issue. However, as a reason for the trade war it is a red herring. As we know very little goes across the Canadian border into the US. Perhaps we should hit the US with tariffs based on the number of illegal guns coming accros our border - that’s a real issue!
