I hope we see more moves like Canada to take Gripens instead of F35s applied to other European goods.
I foresee a big financial drain on US in a need to hike electricity prices and generation to cover needs of their AI centres with more pain for the average consumer.

Increased tariffs on EU will be felt by USA and be remembered by voters during the mid terms. I am pretty sure Europe will absorb any short term sales loss until trump meets Big Beautiful Bill in the shower for a game of “Drop the Soap”

I fully agree TA I have been saying for some time that I think we are witnessing the fall of another “great empire”. Similar to that of the Romans. The question now is will it be the EU or China that fills the void. IMHO the USA will never again hold the sway and admiration it once held.

Vance is bad but without backing from Peter Theil and his ilk Vance is useless and does not have MAGA support. More also needs to be done to drag Miller and Vought into the cleansing daylight

I always enjoy your writings especially those explaining equipment developments. Your updates regarding Ukraine and the impacts on Europe are enlightening and a cause for hope that the future will be good with the removal of ruZZia as a world influence undeserving of the fear currently engendered

The engine is technically a prototype but it is a derivative of the existing RR RJ200. It will probably also be used in the Eurofighter at some point. The bigger problem will be changes to the Gripen airframe but the cost could be offset by a greater market. Local build approval could be a plus.

I think the Gripen is moving to a Rolls Royce engine so that means US has no say.

Remove EVERYTHING that could conceivably be considered a memory to trump.
I know it will cost but that can be covered by an increase in tax on the rich. If they have the money to fund his lifestyle they can pay to fix his desecration.

I hope the first thing the replacement POTUS does is rip it down and rebuild the East Wing, get rid of all the gold tack and reinstate the Rose Garden and if he builds his tacky Golden Arches(which will probably look like Maccas) knock that down too.
