You don’t think Starmer is mucking up?

True but so will Labour - let’s hope they look better than they do now.

Ha ha - nice one!

Being slightly to the left of Reform or the Tories isn’t an attractive prospect to anybody, as we can see in the polls. If you are right wing you’ll vote for the above, if not you’ll vote Green, Plaid, SNP or Ind. Who wants to vote for a bunch of fakes pretending they like waving union flags.

Oh yes there is!
November 14, 2025 at 7:02 PM
There’s already a right wing party in..
November 14, 2025 at 2:12 PM
How would you legislate for that? Who would decide what was “honest and unbiased.”

So you don’t think we should have a free media? Just government propaganda. What’s that type of system called?

Everybody knows it’s Macedonians!

Heading in the right direction but not nearly far enough. Rent controls would redistribute wealth & boost economic growth but Labour aren’t gonna do it. Why? Because they have ceased to be a social democratic party. They’re happy with the current staggering levels of inequality in this country.

Maybe I’m being too harsh but I think there are a lot of MPs who you’d struggle to describe as social democratic, let alone socialist. A great deal appear to be somewhere on the spectrum between neo-liberal and authoritarian. Starmer was extremely successful at purging the left.
November 7, 2025 at 6:19 PM
You can always hope but I think the cancer has spread too far. You’d have to get rid of Starmer, most of the cabinet and expel McSweeney and his Labour Together cronies. There are lots of Labour MPs but most are Starmer’s stooges. I reckon there are only about 20 genuinely left wing MPs.

Reckon the Labour ship is already sunk. Be too much effort to salvage the wreck.
November 7, 2025 at 1:05 PM
Superficially there are similarities between the two men but I’d argue that Khan is well to the right of Mamdani and I’d have serious problems with describing the current UK “Labour” party (especially the current leadership) as “left wing, pro-LGBT, pro-multicultural.” Quite the opposite.
November 5, 2025 at 9:13 AM
Yes a disgraceful “Labour” council and government. But who funds them? Why not fund actual socialist or social democrat parties rather than the neo-liberal autocrats in the “Labour” party.
