Also, never gave an update on this project - finished it in December last year, but only managed to block it now. Thankfully gained a few cm! 🧶

This shawl is both fun and tedious - lots of repeats but that also makes it easy to crochet (don't have to stare at the pattern to see what the next stitches are), and so far I haven't lost any stitches °knock on wood° But I am very smitten with the grid like pattern. 🧶

Current crochet project: Triangular shawl "Merope" by KleinesFeines. Part of project "deplete yarn stash" that works just as well as project "deplete TBR book pile". But I like that crochet streak that's happening. Love to end the day and cleanse my mind by forgetting how to count. 🥰 🧶

New year, new project (... starting. Still have two crochet WIPs running).
Handspun yarns are from Iupiter Yarn on etsy, colourways Ignis#1 and Autumna#6. 🧶

Turns out I didn't need to worry. Even redid the sc row with the intended dcs. Will block once I'm back home, but I'm very chuffed about how it turned out. 🧶 #crochet

Will I win yarn chicken? Only one row to go but it's the final row of a triangle shawl soo.. 👀 already switched from 4 to 3,5mm hooks and substituted dc with sc stitches the row before 🧶 (at the very least I don't have to worry about not being able to use the whole cake).

Project "how to make the best out of purchasing the wrong type of shelf as a bookshelf" moderately successful?
Shelf: IKEA Platsa corpus & inserts
Backrow: IKEA Bekväm spice rack
Middle row: Make up pallet organisers, height 4 cm
Left to do: rearrange all the books once the TBR has gone down a bit

New crochet project I started after I caught The C-Virus. Am well again, and the blanket has grown by now. Might recreate it with less scratchy yarn (it does come with a glitter thread) and try to make it bigger. 🧶

Finally upgraded my shelves. Slightly underestimated the depth of the Platsa corpus. °coughs° Upside: triple stacking of hardcover /large paperbacks now possible. Also moved my yarn stash closer to the desk.

A stola currently in the process of being crocheted. The yarn cake sits on one corner of the unfinished stola. The crocheted part goes from yellow to dark orange, the remaining yarn cake fades from pink to violet and then purple. The unfinished stola is spread out on a white pillow, the pink crochet hook is hooked into the beginning of a row.

Current crochet project: Love the colouring of the yarn (Gründl Pacific Lace), but it's absolutely unforgiving when it comes to frogging. Had me sweating a lot when I had to frog 5 rows and hoping the yarn wasn't going to rip. 💀🧶

Crochet progress report: I hope I'll finish it before the warm weather kicks in. The red has switched to a dark orange-y colour but it doesn't really show up in pictures. Am surprised at how much I've gotten out of the cake so far (and still a bit left to to - planning to use the entire cake) 🧶

Current crochet project, been wanting to do this pattern but the last yarn just wasn't right. Original idea also had to be scrapped but let's finish that bobbel! 🧶

Also finished the giant super stiff puff stitch shawl yesterday. All the yarn finished (with about 5 cm of yarn left hah.). I need to wash and block it, but I don't have enough mats.. well, was planning on getting more anyway 🥲 🧶

Update of Current Crochet Update: I like the pattern, but I don't love the yarn. However I can't bring myself to open everything. Since I have another ball at home (and I just started a new one), I'll just finish everything - I get practice out of it, and a couch cover / home shawl!
