And the thing is, in the US healthcare system, physicians (and everybody who sees patients) are the ONLY people who actually got into this business to help patients. Every other aspect of US Healthcare is designed to milk your body for as much money as possible without care for you as a person.

Studies show that funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) contributed to 354 of 356 drugs (99.4%) approved by the FDA from 2010 to 2019. Recklessly slashing NIH funding will mean that patients will be waiting much longer for life-saving treatments.
