Consul General Wagner-Mitchell has assumed her position as Consul General of Germany in Toronto, as she and her family are settling into the city and starting to explore their new home for the next four years.

Please note that the Consulate will be closed tomorrow, July 1 and will reopen on July 2.

Acting Consul General Barbara de Tschaschell was very pleased to officially meet for the first time with the Speaker of the Ontario Legislative Assembly Donna Skelly for a courtesy call. Speaker Skelly is the first female Speaker of the Legislative Assembly since Ontario’s first Parliament in 1867.

Acting CG de Tschaschell joined Minister Vic Fedeli and the CGs of 🇫🇷, 🇬🇧 ,🇮🇹 , 🇯🇵 and 🇰🇷 today for a fruitful roundtable on collaborating to expand trade and investments, and build resilient supply chains. We welcome the opportunity to build on the strong partnership between 🇩🇪 and #Ontario!
