It really hits home how useless the US government is when you see actual governing happen in a moment of crisis like this in another country.

I had hoped by now, 10 months in, we would have learned our lesson, but clearly based on the comments you're getting Americans haven't suffered enough yet. That's alright, if history is any indicator, things will get much much worse. Even for this privileged bunch.

It's like he forgets that he works for us. This is how elections work. You don't do what the people hired you to do, we replace you with people who we think will represent the country needs.

I don't believe a single person who has been flipping sides like this recently. They knew. This person admittedly lost family, friends and business and never thought "hm maybe I'm wrong here?"

There should be more outrage? Portland is dressing up as frogs just to get your attention! Sure, they'd do that any other day too, but the point is no one is listening to the outrage. There's more to this than we are aware of at this point. Trump doesn't do anything out of the goodness of his heart, nor does Netanyahu or Hamas. I hope I'm wrong and this plays out the way they are advertising it will, but there's definitely a part of me that's waiting for the other shoe to drop.
