Being a VR dev has just been a decade of being jump scared by new hardware, from half a dozen or more vendors, you will be expected to support, suddenly, with no external financial assistance, and no way to tell if doing so will pay for the resource expenditure of supporting it.

No se si es lo que buscas pero soy granaíno con juego de miedo recién salido de Early Access (eso sí, VR-PC local asimétrico porque me gusta meterme en berenjenales)
Escape From Mandrillia: Local Asymmetric VR+PC on Steam
Local VR+PC horror: as a VR player, escape an underground facility full of giant alien monkeys. Up to 2 PC players can help you out controlling friendly drones... or crush you by playing as the enemy ...

It really seems like they did not even bother about testing it on an Index, which is barely understandable if it was a novice solo dev, and they are far from that

I'm in complete disbelief, from what I'm reading this is a "never bothered testing on an Index" situation which is incredible for a dev with any experience

*breaking, well you get it lol

Also, it's gonna be interesting seeing how this affects unity-made cellphone games which are apparently the ones that'd be more vulnerable to this thing

In all fairness, looks like I was able to update the project without anything visibly braking... knocking on wood here. I'm also lucky to be on 2019.1 which is apparently the earliest editor version they did a full patch for

They seem to have patched all versions from 2019.1 (exactly the one I'm in for my recently released game, so I'm lucky I guess -otherwise I'd need to use their patcher)

Ironically, this doesn't affect people who are on versions older than 2017, so not upgrading paid off for them lol

Wait, what has happened? Last news I got was that wmr devices got officially bricked, then un-officially unbricked by that single-dev driver thing, what is Valve doing now? (can't find anything about it)

First time seeing it! I have to say I sure like "asymmetric VR" being the first thing on these tabs, for no particular reason at all 🤐

This game still has some of the most beautiful scenery I've seen in VR, I still demo VR to people by showing them the last hub or the bonus stages with the waterfalls

Nice!

With Crumb I've always been surprised by his serious stuff like the one about Kafka's life and the straight-up full adaptation of Genesis

Another I always recommend is Alberto Breccias' PERRAMUS (who also did a tiny adaptation of the OG eternaut)
