This used to be me, but during COVId we put up our (prelit) Christmas tree Advent 1 and decorated it on Christmas Eve. Of course, we leave it up to January 6. It is not perfect, but it works for me these days.

I loved the book Bellevue by David Oshinsky. It is a history of Bellevue, I could not put it down and became even more committed to public hospitals

My diocese put my ordination date in the weekly Bishop’s blast, but I have not yet heard officially from them (standing meeting less than a month before the service.) Surely there has to be a better way

You totally should- though I have doubts about ruby red outside of Nashville parts of our district. But, hope springs eternal, especially on a night like tonight!
