There were no reported negative health impacts of the drug in this cohort either. Giving children the time to understand themselves and choose their next steps has been politicised.

Well, it wasn't exactly fun in the 00s going out when the 'lads' at the local had been used to drinking 7 pints 'no problem' and then suddenly they were very problematic, and some continue to be, because they "drink 7 pints". So even though it is just about profits, it's a good thing.

I knew kids from my son's LGBTQ+ youth group who were on the Tavistock waiting list a decade ago. The list was so long that they were already well into puberty and suffering as a result long before getting an appointment. The blockers are used for other conditions and deemed safe.

When was it they all increased the alcohol content? Mid/late 90s, maybe? Finding a lager that felt refreshing rather than instantly pissed suddenly became really difficult.

This was discussed on All in the Mind today. It's called the opposers' loss effect. 28 minutes in.

When Evan Davis describes Lord Chris Patten as a voice on the left, and Tory MPs are likening the BBC the Taliban, I think it's time for serious public discussion about how far right the Conservative Party have shifted.

When Lord Chris Patten is described as a voice on the left on BBC PM, then yes, it's absolutely time to call them fascists.

A boy who'd subjected my son to homophobic abuse for years with no action at school was reported under that legislation once he turned 16. I think it was the wake-up call he and his family needed.

My grandad joined the Navy as a teenager in WWl. He had shrapnel wounds but never spoke about it. My FiL was in the Navy in WWII. The first time I met him, he shared stories about it, much to the shock of his family, who'd never heard him speak about his experiences before.

I often wonder if the hatred for Islam has something to do with their money lending system. I think most people would quite like it if they knew about it.

I have questions about what they think is a "secure marriage". My marriage broke down when I realised my husband wasn't my partner; he was my 'first child'. Sex was completely out of the question from then. If he'd been financially competent, we'd have managed a few more years together.

I get the irony, but the fact is that poor dental health makes people more susceptible to supporting people and policies that harm them.

Literally, but it isn't funny. Dental health is linked to cardiovascular disease and has links to other conditions, including neurological ones, as the nerves in the jaw also have origins in the brain and brain stem, and link to organs and extremities.

People don't appreciate how dentistry impacts more than just teeth.

Cut backs are showing. That terrible headline shows the sports editor has no grasp of current affairs, and there's no editorial oversight.
