The default position must be that “everything Trump says is untrue” operates as the rebuttable presumption. The presumption will likely be accurate more often than not. Question everything he says.

I have mixed feelings about the story. It’s a great allegory of unselfish love (by the tree) but I can also see how it could imply that someone should agree unhesitatingly to demands that are excessive and harmful to the giver.
