Retired professor of Christian Ethics, Catholic Social Teaching, Peace Studies. I alternate between the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and Santiago Atitlán, Guatemala. I watch soccer, play mandolin, and paddle a canoe when I can (not with the mandolin).
We met outside the church in Santiago Atitlán to open the box, then went into the chapel where Rother was martyred, and quietly dedicated the book to Rother's own continuing witness to the Gospel.

Note that my current banner is taken from the cover of the book -- a photo of a cross-border mass a few years ago, which reflects what "Christian identity" really should be, and resists false and nationalistic versions.
