Lovely colours Sarah. Every year I can't resist collecting fallen leaves and then they sit inside until dry and crumbly and I have to throw them away. This year I have invested in some glycerine to preserve them - still not sure what I'll do with them afterwards!

I very nearly turned round and went home, but having waited a bit I thought I'd give it a go. Luckily it was a very mild night. Rest of story - I missed the path in the dark and came face to face with a deer with antlers - quick back track so as not to disturb/upset him!

Love the photo. I’ve not had time to get up to Chatsworth recently. I plan to be there for the fireworks. I’m fine, thanks. It was only a check up and a session with the dental hygienist, but all in all I was there 10.45 - 12.00. It’s not one of my favourite things!🫣
