Wouldnt be surprised if it was their idea! Who is to say they won't use their speaking time asking tame questions of the government while reducing speaking time for other opposition parties while voting for government policy anyway.

A tiny amount are actually used for the jobs and in terrain they were designed for. Why any rationale person or government would want to see people buying vehicles that are grossly overpowered and over engineered for the purpose they are being used for and also more lethal to people is beyond me.

The real problem is not getting sucked under the truck. It's the impact area on the pedestrian. These trucks are so high now that they impact the average adult in the chest, causing massive organ damage. Pedestrian deaths when they are hit by this type of vehicle are very high.
