Since when has evidence ever mattered to them? They were planning to do this the entire time. They just wanted to use Kirk as an excuse to do it.

Political violence is not new in America and it saddens me that people don’t realize this. The only reason so much more is being made of made of Kirk’s death rather than, say, the assassinations in Minessota or the Paul Pelosi attack, is because it was in public, visible, and against the right.

Cause it’s 2025, probably.

But seriously, an even bigger superpower is the ability to teach other humans. In no other species does aggregated knowledge and experience exist in the sheer volume that it does in humans, nor can they teach it as fast.

This is why I say we don’t *need* to defend kink, not because kink is indefensible, but because the queer narrative art has always made kink into art. If you want to be cynical, art is the Trojan Horse in which kink hides. If you want to be honest, your kink was always art and should be seen as art.

I’m saying kink IS art, and that is the most queer affirming thing a person can say. Performative queerness is not only one of the foundations of our community, it’s literally how we won this fight in the 70s and 80s.
