😂 I was 16 in 1976. I had impetigo and thread worms as a kid (probably from picking up white dog shit thinking it was chalk). We all had measles and I remember the 3 of us laying on a mattress in the front room with the curtains drawn. Good times - 'My Arse!'.

Yes all of that and scarlet fever, impetigo, thread worms and white dog shit. The black outs and the bread shortages as well. I started work in 1976.

I often prefer 'men's' shower gel. Also I only ever buy men's jeans for myself (they are better made, have deeper pockets and are not too stretchy or high waisted).

I remember the joy I felt when B.Johnson resigned followed by the dread of who would replace him - Liz Truss!!!!! We have to be careful of what we wish for. I just hope it's not someone more right wing. I find it incredible that we pay so much attention/homage to the orange right wing lunatic Potus

I agree. I haven't worn a poppy for years for this very reason. Every single lampost in our town has a large poppy attached to it, made of plastic as well 🤬

I fucking hate them. Our old dog used to go absolutely mental. I'm glad Oscar is relaxed about them. All those poor creatures having to put up with this shit. It seems to go on for weeks nowadays as well 🤬

We drive on the A30 between Shaftesbury and Salisbury every week across Cranborne Chase. No duel carriageways, steep hills, windy roads, single lane pinch points used by buses and lorries. Every bloody time some wanker tries to overtake on a narrow bend doing 70-80 mph.

We see it all the time. It's so fucking dangerous. It always seems to be the drivers of expensive cars as well. Saturday on the M25 was fucking awful.
