Each day brings a rhythm of duty: securing positions, preparing defenses, checking gear, and sharing brief conversations with comrades. Beneath the hardened exterior,there’s a constant battle within- a mix of fear, hope and longing.

As the sun rises, painting the sky in hues of orange and red, a soldier wakes to another day of uncertainty. The distant echoes of gunfire serve as a somber reminder of where they are. In this unforgiving terrain, moments of stillness are rare, but in those brief respites.
